suggestions for 21st birthday dinner

Our family (me, my husband, son (21) daughter(25) grandma and 86 yr old aunt) will be at Harrah's next month. Looking for dinner suggestions or deals on the strip. We will be going to Hash House A-go-go one night using a restaurant.com coupon. Considered Hard Rock Cafe by showcase mall - but online menu had no prices. Thanks for any suggestions.
Since you are at Harrah's, The Range is a very nice restaurant, very good food, not terribly expensive, and convenient for your 86 y/o.
The Range is a good call, but it's quite a bit more expensive than Hash House. If your Aunt can make it Mon Ami Gabi is an excellent place to eat outside and watch the world go by. Next door at the Venetian, Tao is an amazing asian style restaurant, one of the best looking in town. It can be reasonable if you order correctly or for american food try the Grand Lux Cafe at the Venetian or Palazzo. Both are WAY better than the Hard Rock but with similar pricing. They are basically upscale Cheesecake factory (which is also across the road in the Forum Mall).
The Range is one of the restaurants that participates in Tix4Tonight's dining program. For a $3 fee per person, you each receive 50% off an entree. The Steakhouse at Bill's also participates and would be a frugal choice. Another option in Harrahs is Flavors buffet where the discount is 25%.

Here is a link to a listing of participating restaurants - click on the ones of interest for additional information.

All of the mentioned buffets (TI, Harrah's....there are others) are 25% off.

Buzio's at the Pio has 2-for-1 entrees, and La Pampas Brazilian has a $13 lunch / $25 dinner deal.

Emerils, Hugo's and some similar top-notch restaurants have 25% off, something I have never heard of before this posting at such name joints.
Our favorite casual restaurant is the Grand Luxe Cafe in the Venetian. Great for a family dinner. Have yet to try the one in the Palazzo.

The Range has stairs going down to the window tables. If I were 86 years old, I wouldn't enjoy that. I am sure there is a ramp somewhere, but I don't know.

Plus diners facing the IP-carnival court direction get a huge, in-your-face billboard of flashing ads for Harrah's restaurants, shows ,etc. It gets very tiring.

Tix for Tonight people get a special menu at the Range. It's not the regular menu that full-price customers get.
