Taco Bell Cantina

Apparently there is a Taco Bell on the strip that provides an elevated atmosphere and alcohol.  Anybody been?

Taco Bell Cantina

They have beer, slushy alcohol machines, Big TVs, and a souvenier shop.  Open 24 hours.

Sounds like a good, cheap late-night munchie destination.

It's on the Strip, so "cheap" probably isn't on the menu.

For tacos on the Strip, hit Tacos El Gordo.

I went to the link PJ provided, looks good.  "On Harmon corner."  Have your slushy virgin style or add (for a price I'm sure) your favorite alcohol.

Kevin, "Cheap" can depend on circumstances, sometimes.  Like 'time is money', where you are staying and how late into the night it is, how tired/tipsy you are, etc.  I'd give it a look.

Well, then, those $12 tacos (I'm guessing; they may be more expensive than that) are a consequence of putting yourself in that situation. On the Strip, needing/wanting something, and having to cough up for it.

If you want a real education, compare the prices at Tacos El Gordo on Charleston and the identical place on the center Strip.

Here are the numbers, (1) cab/lyft ride to Charleston - $30-40 round trip, (2) time there and back, 1-2 hours. How does that math compare to what you advocate?

Since I'm never going to be on the Strip in the first place, that's a pointless question. But you do point out a very good reason why--it's a $30-40 cab/Lyft ride to anyplace where anything is reasonably priced.

So what does Kevin always add to his cocktails?

Bitters.
