Thanksgiving Dinner Ideas

Arriving Vegas 4pm on Thanksgiving day... Any ideas from anyone for Thanksgiving dinner that evening?
First off, you can forget about eating at a buffet for Thanksgiving in Las Vegas....unless you like waiting in line for 2 or 3 hours....that's no B.S. I was in Vegas a couple of years ago for Thanksgiving and the lines at the Rio and Paris buffets were HUGE..never seen anything like it in Vegas.

Here are some restaurants that are offering a special Thanksgiving menu which includes turkey with all the other traditional food items. I suggest you make a list of some of the Vegas restaurants you have interest, and check out their websites to see if any of them are offering a Thanksgiving menu. Mon Ami Gabi is offering a Thanksgiving meal take out dinner if you call and reserve one before Nov. 19th. You could pick it up and enjoy your feast in the quiet and privacy of your hotel room. Pick up a bottle of wine to enjoy with the take out meal and avoid the outrageous prices the restaurants charge. A nice sauvignon blanc would complement the meal. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your trip and your Thanksgiving in Vegas.

Mon Ami Gabi (Paris) for $49.95/person

Charlie Palmer Steakhouse (4 Seasons at Mandalay Bay) from 2-8 pm $70

The Cortez Room restaurant (Gold Coast) $27

The Palm Restaurant (Caesars Palace) from 4-9 pm $55

Glasses can affect your vision; especially when they have been emptied several times.....

I wholeheartedly agree with Biglar73's information and this suggestion.
Long lines, whining kiddies (and adults) frazzled staff, average food, high prices.
Give thanks in the peace and quiet of your room, your jammies, TV, wine, zzzzz...

I prefer jammies, Football, beer, zzzzzzzzzzzz
Awesome Thanks!
Returned from a getaway in Vegas for Thanksgiving. I had made reservations @ Lawrys for dinner. Everything was great! Food was excellent, carved @ table, special holiday drinks, reservation time was spot on. Consider this place next year.
