Three Buffet's a Day!

I am in Vegas every couple months and I stay three nights....almost every meal is a buffet for me as I like to control what I eat and the portion sizes etc.

I love the Bellagio as the quality grub....Planet Hollywood and the Hilton are middle tier and a quick buffet at Gold Coast MSS or Orleans fits the bill as good value.

Has anyone eaten at the Palm's Buffet? If so where would you place the value/quality on the above conitnuum?
Ate there years ago.
Low on quality. Low on selections.
Bottom line: skip it (unless you're there, hungry, and have a comp).
You're better off across the street, either Gold Coast (a "bargain" buffet -- on the lower side quality, not worth traveling to, but some good options. Had a tortilla soup that was excellent a couple of years ago) or Rio -- not one of my favorites but huge selection.

The one I'd suggest trying is Wicked Spoon (Cosmo) especially for breakfast.

PS
I went to the LVA buffet site and looked at comments. Half the people give it 1 or 2 stars. The other half give it 4 or 5. I'd give it 2. It's one of the lower rated buffets.
The Palms revamped their buffet recently. It is allegedly improved from the one they had before but I cant say from first hand experience. I have had the the Margarita brunch buffet at the mexican restaurant there ( Garduno's ) and can say it is well worth the price.

Palms Place now has a Sunday Brunch as well. I think its like $40. It is suppossed to be very good.
Garduno's Sunday brunch is my favorite buffet in Vegas. Note, I'm very biased. I don't want a lot of exotic food. I love breakfast. I love Mexican food. Though it's not the best Mexican food I've ever had, it is the best Mexican buffet food. Enchiladas and fajitas that are very tasty. They've got very good carnitas -- and how often can you get those at a buffet? One of the few breakfast buffets where I don't dare fill myself with a omelet. And to top it off, the best waffle I've ever had. A waffle filled with bittersweet chocolate chunks, topped with melted caramel and whipped cream. With the half off LVA coupon -- great brunch. Just don't drive after downing a bunch of margaritas.

As for the Palms, with new management and elimination of all decent VP -- maybe they upgraded their buffet.

Please note: CE/HET has removed everything that's special and good at the PH buffet and kept the prices high...
you can cross it off your list
I am a whole different animal.

I have lost 150 lbs and kept it off three years.

When I go to Vegas I eat three buffet a day for the simple stuff and to know what I am eating.

Fruit Turkey Veggies some OK desserts...I am simple.

LV Hilton/Spice Market foot the bill as they always have turkey

Bellagio works as always....can't go wrong there

GC and Orleans MSS etc are OK but Turkey is hit or miss

I know I am a weirdo!

That sounds like a smart and well thought out plan.
It works well as long as the will power is there!

I should have been more specific in my initial post and said...anybody know if the Palms buffet has Turkey Fruit and veggies.......was really trying to see if there quality had gotten better.

Sorry for any confusion and thanks to all for the feedback!
Congrats on the weight loss. You know it is probably easier to control portion sizes at a buffet - portion sizes are so enormous off the menu.

Keep up the good work.
Seems like an odd approach but it is true.

You can choose the things after you see them prepared as well .............. never fun to get a plate of food you thought would be good and healthy and it is doused in oil or butter and stuff.
