Top 3 downtown restaurants

For those who frequent downtown, I would like to know what you consider to be the top 3 restaurants.

Thanks.
2nd Street Grille
777 Brewpub
The Flame
No question--2nd Street Grille. Sea Bass is the best I have ever had. George's (?) across from the one time Lady Luck is next. Have not tried restaurant's at Golden Nugett but I expect they would be worth a stop.
The Flame, Binion's Steak House, deep fried Twinkies at Mermaids!

Top three in this order

Hugo's in the Four Queens---------------------------------Expensive
Vic and Anthony's in the Golden Nugget---------------- Sort of expensive
Binions Ranchhouse in Binions-----------------------------Average price

All three are very good they offer good service---quality steaks---and nice atmosphere
Vic and Anthony's at the Golden Nugget
The Chart House at the Golden Nugget
Hugo's at the Four Queens or Binion's Steak House

Now I have a confession. I have a full RFB comp at the Golden Nugget. I have also had a full comp at all Boyd properties. Through my former business, I’ve had dinner several times at Hugo’s and Binion’s. So we never really paid attention to price.

We just came back after four nights at the Golden Nugget and had dinner twice at Vic and Anthony's, once at the Chart House and Red Sushi. The first night we had dinner at Vic and Anthony's. My wife had the maple glazed quail and was very pleased with her choice. I had the raw oysters and as always they were excellent. Next up, I had the daily soup – gumbo, sadly this was terrible, the roux was slightly burnt. For an entrée my wife had the sea bass, she’s had this before and really enjoys it. I had the filet and how could you go wrong. The peppercorn sauce that accompanies the filet is terrific. A baked potato and haircot verts were our choices for sides. At the Chart House, we started with the jumbo stone crab claws, very good, and oysters. I prefer the variety served at Vic and Anthony’s, and the fact that they a delicious mignonette instead of cocktail sauce. For entrees my wife had the lamb chops which she really enjoyed and I had the prime rib. Both were very good. I really enjoyed the mashed potatoes that came with the prime rib. Also the bread basket that precedes the entrées has squaw bread and an everything cracker which are also very delicious.
We also had a chance to eat at The Grotto and The Chart House for lunch. At the Grotto we shared a chopped salad that was great, it had grilled chicken, bacon, gorgonzola and other stuff. My wife had the daily pizza special with homemade sausage and I had a pasta, penne with shrimp and asparagus in a lemon sauce. This was incredible! Every bite you took, you wanted to eat some more. At the Chart House, I had the Alaskan King Crab Sandwich, it was OK. But my wife had a chicken cutlet with mushrooms and artichokes in a marsala sauce. WOW! And it came with a delicious pasta in a tomato cream! WOW!
You got to remember the Golden Nugget is now owned by Landry’s (Joe’s Crab Shack, Rainforest Café and a hundred other restaurants) so food and beverage is their livelihood.
One of the best restaurant/ steakhouses IMHO was Pullman’s at Main Street Station. Comp or no comp, Pullman’s was a great restaurant. From Jose at the bar, to the great servers, service was always very warm and inviting and professional. Entrees were complete meals and included soup or salad. I really miss this place. Second Street Grill is also good, but I come from the land of Pan Asian Cuisine. Hugo’s has been inconsistent over the years. I’ve had some great meals and some bad meals. I had also had some great meals at Binion’s but never went back after Becky took over. I also had dinner at Roberta’s and enjoyed but believe it to be a different level from restaurants like Hugo’s and Vic and Anthony’s.
Just my two cents.
The Flame, 777 Brewpub & Binions Steakhouse!
Firefly at the Plaza has to be on my list. Right now it is on my top 5 favorites in Vegas list, not just downtown. I don't think I have eaten at more than 3 restaurants downtown, though. The other 2 were 777 and the Flame, both of which were OK
Hugos
777 Brewpub
and my favorite, Redwood
Binions Steak House, The Flame "Roberta's", Triple George
