Top of the world

Has anyone dined at the Top of the world? Any comments about the food and seating would be appreciated. Thanks.
It recently made the top 50 in LVAs Eating Las Vegas book.
I was there a couple times several years ago and it was good not great.
Apparently new chef and new menu have raised the bar.
I am looking forward to trying it again on my next trip in Sept.
Zander,

We went for our 35th anniversary a few years ago(2004), and I was satisfied. Food was good, but you go there for the view. We went while it was still light out, and as dinner went on, night came and the Vegas Valley lit up. Cool.
I also remember that it was the first time I broke the $200 barrier for dinner for two, but I felt it was well worth the price for a very special night. They seated us at a booth that faced the outside directly. At first I didn't want to be there because it was on the inner rim of the revolving platform farthest from the windows; but I later decided this was the best view since we saw directly out.
I recommend it, especially as a special night out.

If cost is important, I hear lunch is cheaper.
Its been about 8 years since my last visit. The view was better than the food and it was freakishly overpriced in my opinion. I found the food quality at Binion's Steakhouse to be about the same quality with a nice few and about half the price.
