A unique restaurant?

For the first time, we will have a car for part of our next Vegas visit. So I wondered if there is a unique dining experience that we should try that a car would make more accessible.
We like Italian, American, but are open to other cuisines.
Unique atmosphere or kitsch would interest us.
Alcohol would not be important.
Value is more important than cost, i.e. we would spend a lot for a great evening out.
Thanks.

Marche Bacchus
Todd's Unique
Table 34

No kitsch, however.
Marche for dining lakeside and excellent food. Purchase a bottle of wine from their adjoining wine market and pay only the $10 corkage.

Bernard's Bistro also offers lakeside dining though a different lake. The restaurant serves delicious Cali-French cuisine. I think it is better as a brunch (weekends) or lunch place than for dinner.

Arguably the best Thai restaurant in the USA is Lotus of Siam. The chef/owner won this year's James Beard award for being the best chef in the west.

Todd's Unique is by far my favorite Las Vegas restaurant, but it will be closed beginning today for 3 weeks. If it is open when you are there, I would recommend going either on the weekend for "flown in fresh" seafood or going on Wednesday night when the corkage charge is waived.

Milos for the best Greek food in Las Vegas does not require a car, but offers amazingly fresh fish and produce with a nice view of the Strip. The $20.11 3-course lunch is the best upscale value deal in town.
Todd's Unique is now on my list of places to try.

Thanks for the posts.

For a unique atmosphere or kitch, I would reccommend The Artisan. Walls and CEILING are covered with fine art reproductions. Food is pretty good too and reasonable.
Lotus of Siam has been THE recommendation for over a decade now. Still holding strong.

Italian American?
My recommendation:
Nora's
Gaetano's (restaurant.com coupons)
My wife and I went to Lotus of Siam on the 30th.August,2011.Sat down and was told about the Buffett and said that sounds good to enjoy the different tastes in dishes. It was not very good, not hot and dishes were kinda greasy. The only meat was Chicken wings!!Very disappointed after reading so many rave reviews.Must have been an"Off Day".Wont be going back any time soon.
Second Street Grille at the Fremont. Unique menu with a Pacific Rim influence.
