Village Seafood Buffet?

I have not been there in 2 years is it still good?
I have one word to say about Rio's Seafood Buffet "Yuck"! Wife and I ate there several months ago. The lobster is a tasteless wanna be lobster. The crab was salty and mushy. The sushi was the best part of the buffet. The prime rib was way overcooked and my wife and I were impressed that someone could cut a piece of prime rib paper thin without using a meat slicer. Very Impressed! The guy cutting the prime rib probably worked at Arbys before coming to this restaurant. Years ago, before they remodeled, they had one of the best buffets in town, now its one of the worst. Plus its overpriced. Go to the Rio Carnival Buffet, its much better and cheaper.
I think is is very overpriced, even with discount it was $80.00. The lobster was just pieces. I just don't think it is worth the money anymore when you can eat at Wynn, Bellagio and others with higher quality food and better seafood.
For the "all you can eat lobster" lovers (which was 1 of the main reason tjhat I used to go to the Village Seafood buffet) I have heard that the "M" offers a nice alternative (with nice size lobster tails). I believe its only on Sat night but I'll know for sure come mid-August!!

Champster: I believe the M buffet with lobster is only for April. Have not heard from anyone who has actually tried it yet and would like to know if it is indeed lobster tails. When they sent out the mailing about the buffet the photo zoomed in on one of the claws.
Well as far as hoping that it is still going in august lets just......"Keep hope alive"!!!!
