There is some Mexican for the locals on Main Street, as well as some of the original Del Tacos. They serve the original recipe since the owner kept the rights when he sold off franchising in the 80's, so the "Barstow taco" and Barstow burrito are unique. You can look them up, but that is my usual stop if I just don't drive straight through as is normally the case.
