which buffet would you choose

If you were going to a buffet in the $30+ range on a Sunday night which one would you choose?
There are a lot of similar ones in that range - so I would base it on being in the area where I was staying - otherwise you are driving/adding cab fares.
Any Mirage Group except Circus Circus and Excalibur would fit your needs very well.

1. Cosmopolitan - if you like gourmet type items & not just beef & potatoes
2. Bellagio
3. Wynn
4. Mirage - below the top 3

Following 2 are highly overrated and not recommended by me

1. Paris - except for the crepes it's only a mere shadow of a former great buffet
2. Rio - lots of variety, all fixed with fast food quality -

If you drop down to the $15 - $20 price range there are several that will serve nicely, though not nearly as good as the top ones above.

Roy
I'm not up on the higher-end, Strip buffets, but Roy's list looks about right from what I've heard. I might put Wynn above Bellagio, but a minor issue.

The only question I have is that Planet Hollywood used to be very highly rated. Did Harrah's end that?

I completely concur with Roy over his assessment of both Rio and Paris. I was greatly disappointed by my one trip to Paris a couple of years ago. And they didn't even have nutella for the crepes. What's with that?

Planet H is not as good as it used to be
Tony, thanks. That's what I figured.
I would vote for the Wicked Spoon at the Cosmo. I can still remember the meal from last December.... and I have the memory of a solar calculator in the dark
If I am paying....I go Bellagio.......I eat nine buffets every visit and I am ou there sixt times a year ....that is 54 buffets and Bellagio is best of the bunch and I have done all listed above.
Bellagio and Wynn are pretty cloase. Wicked Spoon at Cosmo is also good but very different from these two.

Last trip we had an enjoyable brunch at Mirage as well.

PH is awful and Paris is mediocre. Some days it shines, other days it's all grime.

Joy
My wife and I vote for The Spice Market Buffet at Planet Hollywood.
