$20 resort fee at the D™ and golden gate?

Are they out of their minds? I hope Derek's money grab falls flat on its face
I know this charge sounds rediculous but who pays for the overhead lightshow and maintenance of the bulbs. Does each Casino on Freemont pay for the electric bill?

Well, they're supposed to but I do know that somehow, Plaza and Las Vegas Club have been out of the group for a while now (some article that I read recently said that Plaza and Las Vegas Club have not been paying for it for about the last 2 years. I also don't agree with the Resort Fee! They should just add it in to the price of the room. And all of these places should not only stop Nickel and Dimeing us to death but be up-front with what we are going to end up paying for the room!

How dare the Golden Gate call itself a resort.

Am I to glean from the post that the D and Golden Gate have instituted a $20 resort fee??? That has got to be a joke! That would be higher than most of the CET properties on or near the Strip.
Greed !
The D and $20 resort fee. LOL. I think they should charge $100.00 per day. Free hot dogs included.

And one free shrimp cocktail (per stay, not per day - how dare you be so greedy) at Du-Par's.
If you book before August 19 you are exempt from the $20 resort fee.
I tried to book early December and the reservation screen showed the $20 fee/day due at checkout
