2017 MRB Wish List..

With the upcoming announcement of the 2017 MRB, I was thinking about some of the coupons that would be nice to have, especially for the Downtown fans.

- More creative drink coupons ($5 pitchers, beer & a shot special, Happy Hour Half Off)
- A partnership with Uber or Lyft for a ride credit.
- More 50% off for the solo diners
- Earn "so many points" Get a Casino Coupon Book

a free night here and there would be welcome, or BOGO night.
I'm disappointed that Caesars Entertainment doesn't offer LVA folks better coupon options. Going through their bankruptcy, it seems like such a small thing to offer coupons to their restaurants/hotels/bars/casinos to get people through their doors. At the end of the day, you're going to make so much money off from me coming in and doing a BOGO at your restaurant, gambling at your Blackjack table with a 2:1 blackjack payoff (on 6:5 blackjack, might I add) than if I were to walk past your casino for MGM/Mirage...or to the Fremont area, which really seems to understand a good value and caters to gamblers.

And Im that guy who will go out of my way to take advantage of even the most simple coupon. For example, I've spent the time to get from Downtown to Hard Rock just for the 2 for 1 signature cocktail. Granted this was on a full coupon run, so it was part of the stops, but I still dropped about $40 while there.

Marko: I think few people would fault you for spending $40 at any place while doing a coupon run. First of all, you COULD have hit a huge jackpot while there, how cool would that be? Second, if you're in Vegas to have fun and want to do a little gambling, go for it! At a minimum, you got to spend some time off-Strip, enjoy a couple drinks, do some playing and (perhaps) get a little eye candy, depending on the time of day (night) you were over there! I do coupon runs in just about the same manner in which it sounds like you enjoy too!

If you have the time/energy, a fun (low roller) MRB coupon run:

Silver Sevens for MP coupons and take advantage of the breakfast buffet (with MRB and Players Club its either free or $2-$3 + tip)
Then to Tuscany, but the MRB varies year to year, sometimes its just food, one year I think it was a 2-for-1 drink, one year it was a $25 MP.
From there, walk to Ellis Island for the strong drink & gaming coupons (if hungry again, take advantage of the 50% BBQ coupon)
Walk to the Max Casino then to the Strip, specifically Flamingo for drinks.

Its about a mile walk total, but easy way to get some exercise and take advantage of the book.

Depending on the 2017 MRB, I may mix it up this year and skip Tuscany and the strip and instead hit Hard Rock and Hooters, but it may require an Uber.
