The 4 Queens - I Knew This Was Forthcoming

I had a pastrami sandwich for lunch. There was no need for that, either; I could have had a bowl of chili. Or I could have gone downtown, stood in front of the city hall, drenched myself in kerosene, set myself on fire, and tap-danced until I lost consciousness. No, wait, that wouldn't have worked; it was raining.

This post is pure Kevin!  You are "special" my friend!

David, for what it's worth, 4Q offers have typically dropped for a few months around this time of year (February, March), at least over the past several years.  I'd withhold judgment until you see your April or May offers, although overall they haven't been as generous as in years past.  At least they still have plenty of 9/6 JoB and the 0.3125% CB, as well as (usually) some meaningful promos.  Still a tedious place to play, no playable dollar machines and only old uprights in poor repair.

Don't know what you are seeing, but personally the core of the offers at Four Queens, meaning Freeplay amount, food credit, if any, and number of room nights never varied for me for the past decade in March or in any other busy month.  What did and does vary is the extra bonuses, like play earn X points, get X extra free play, etc, and I expect the core of his future offers will be at this new reduced amount.   The April/May offers are out, so let's see if David can post whether they increased as you expect, or remain the same, as I expect.

Well, if several people report a present as well as historical reduction in offers this time of year, but YOU haven't had that happen, they are obviously all delusional or hallucinating.

There actually are several reasons why your offers might be better. The most obvious is that they consider you more valuable. That, in turn, could be because you play worse games (like slots instead of VP) or, they rate your table game play as worthwhile to them, either because of how you play, what you play, or both.

Many casinos tune their offers to players' points of origin, most often noting zip codes.

So any meaningful comparison of frequency and magnitude of offers has to include how much action a player has offered, what kind of action, and when. What do you play, when, how much, and how well?

For the April/May offers - The usual amount of free play each month. Ours went down a bit. And earn 500 points at the 4Q and get $50 free play. Same thing at Binions. Even though the mailer doesn't specify, I believe the 500 point free play is valid both months.

There is also a slot tournament in April. By invitation only.

So, $4,000 coin-in gets you $50, or +1.25%. I think that's a little worse than previously, as I seem to remember a 1.66% boost. Still a very good promo.
