Amazing Jonathan to Revamp VC.. Um.. Ok?

It was part of todays news feed, but here is part of the article from Vegas Chatter..

This is from Amazing Jonathans Facebook Page:

Last night I had dinner with the guy in charge of operations of The Plaza and the Las Vegas Club. I though he was going to ask me to remove The Screamont Experience, the Haunted House I built last year. It wasn't. Instead he asked me to redesign the entire casino. He wants me to make it "FUN!" Just when you think you're retired from Vegas they give you a casino to redesign. This is going to be a blast because I LOVE that place and I've already done this job in my head 100 times. Now watch this shit!

Sooooo... thoughts? I have only seen his Comedy Central special, so I cant comment on his haunted house or his Vegas act..

Is this a good or bad thing?

marko..
A good thing - he did an amazing job on his house, and an amazing job on his haunted warehouse. I did not get chance to see the Screamont Experience but it seems that the people who count did - and liked what they saw. LVC is probably on a limited budget, and we all know they will not be the next Golden Nugget - so using AJ's incredible imagination on their low budget reno is probably going to be their best bang for their buck that they will find.
I am looking forward to seeing it.
Meanwhile - don't forget that AJ is live on Burn Unit tonight at 9:00 p.m. PST

All they need to do to the Vegas Club is bring back the old cocktail waitresses in the cheerleading outfits, then bring back the Upper Deck and their old gourmet room (sorry, I'm blanking on the name).

I used to really like that place - even when they didn't have the 9/6 Jacks.
I loved the old LVC when Mel ran it. I enjoy AJ, he's a funny (and weird) guy. Whatever he comes up with should be fun. I'm just disappointed he isn't performing anywhere when I'm in town in April.

I believe the restaurant was called the Great Moments Room?

They already have old cocktail waitresses. I'm not sure I'd want to see them in cheerleading outfits.

I did a walk-through there on Monday, looks like they're going to re-open their snack bar. They currently don't have any food venues open, and instead point people to the Plaza for dining options.
Don't really know much about the guy since I never saw him. It's definitely thinking outside the box I guess. My first thought was....wtf? My next thought was...well, he can't make the place worse! Lordy knows that place needs some fun. Go, Jonathan.

Yes, it was definitely called the "Great Moments Room." I still remember the advertisements about it and some coupons that I'd been given for it (which I had no use for since I keep Kosher).

That's been gone for quite a few months. Mickey Finnz (next to Hennessey's, across from Neonopolis) has the same sort of deal, at least according to their banner.
