Anyone done the Super Bowl Party at Four Queens?

I've done SB weekend down at the Trop Express the last few years but am thinking of staying in Vegas this year. So far I've invites from 4Qs and Terribles. I'm leaning towards the Four Queens, but was wondering if anyone has actually been to their party?
I'm curious to hear, too. I got the same invite for the 4Q and I've already booked the plane ticket.
I went last year. Paul Hornung was the guest and he was the grumpiest SOB that I have ever seen. It turns out that he thought he could sell his wares but that wasn't in his contract. He was obliged to sign the commemorative $5 casino chips with his likeness on them. Many people didn't want to approach him and I certainly understood. He grumbled out a couple of names during some drawings so one of the employees took over after that. I felt sorry for the GB fans who worship that turd. Personally, I found it funny. It's fine to be an a-hole in your private life but if you are being paid to interact with the public then you need to leave that at home regardless of your misunderstanding of the financial circumstances. I heard they had Willie Gault, fron the 85 Bears, the year before and you couldn't find a nicer guy.

With that being said, the food selelctions were good for a football game (wings, roast beef, etc). The food lines were a little long so I waited for it to die down a bit so I wouldn't miss too much of the game. There were plenty of TV's but it is hard to hear the commentary or the commercials if that is important to you. Also, they were shown in standard definition or at least the TV's in my viewing range were. I am a bit spoiled by HD so I would have rather watched it in Chicago's.

All in all it wasn't a bad experience but I was a hard core fan of either team then I would probably choose a less public environment to watch the game. I was by myself and I sat with a couple of VP players that I know. It's probably more fun with a group.

I hope this was informative.
Thanks. How was the liquor selection? I'm mostly a beer drinker and last year the trop cut back to only having kegs of Bud and Bud light, after previously offering bottles of a wide variety of beer, including imports.
Where was it held? In the comedy club? I assume it was non-smoking, correct.

Yes, it was held in the comedy club and it was non-smoking. I am clueless about the liquor selection but I did notice there were Bud and Bud Lights on ice.

Anyone other than me going? Hopefully they'll have better beer than just Bud and Bud Light, but hey, beggars can't be choosy.
Alex, great description of the event, very well detailed. Cheers.
I moved to a new home recently and had my mailed forwarded but I haven't received my usual offers so here we are waiting for an invite to arrive. We enjoyed the invite last year from the Orleans. I hardly get any mail since we moved. I tried calling some Hotels to update my new address and have been told it is better to do that in reason on my next visit. Go figure.

Me and the wife are going up there Super Bowl week and are looking for a party to watch the game at. If anyone has an extra invite for the two of us, please send me a PM. It looks like the Pats and Giants to me. It's always fun to make new friends and we have never had a bad experience at a Super Bowl Party.

They have other brands, just ask your waitress.

I have an invite for one extra guest to the party at the 4Q and trust me, I'm not a big enough player to get another guest. But I'll be happy to let one of you be my guest, if you can rustle up someone to let the other be his/her guest.
