ANYONE STAYED AT THE PLAZA RECENTLY?

Got an offer of 7 days free with resort fee wavered at the Plaza downtown Never have stayed there wonder how bad could it be for free? Anyone stayed there recently? Dave In Tampa. Getting ready to come back to Vegas in a month or so.

I have no idea how you managed 7 days from them as I have trouble getting one free night and I have been patronizing the plaza for years! Now its no Bellagio mind you but the place has been recently remodeled so its clean, they have a great sports betting area, some decent restaurant's, and they are at the head of Fremont street (easy to get to other casinos). The pool is a good sized one, the pool area is clean but outdated, but some hotties can be spotted on occasion there. The work out area is small but will get you by. Tell the front desk you need a refrigerator for meds and they will give you one free (they all will) then fill it with your favorite drinks.

I most recently stayed there in March 2014 (3 months ago) and I found it fine. The rooms were updated with at least new furniture. There also is a free safe in the room.

Free WIFI and 2 bottles of water a day. No resort fee makes it a great deal. Easy parking. Love the Pop Up Pizza! Bathrooms are small, but rooms clean and good size.

Well we booked it for August and got a printed conformation copy so will see how it is...

wow, Las Vegas in August......I hope you like heat! I went there once in August and had to leave the air conditioner on full blast for 5 minutes before I could touch the steering wheel of the car!

I've got a free room offer as well for 3 nights, so am staying July 22-24. I've never stayed there before, and hardly played at all in the casino except for free slot play with a LVA coupon. They just called me last month with an offer, so I figure they must want to fill their rooms.

A huge exaggeration, I think.
