Downtown Hotels - Beauty Salon Downtown

Do any of you know of the location of a beauty shop, salon, etc. where a woman can get her hair or nails done in the downtown casino area. Hair usually keeps well in the dry climate of Nevada compared to Houston's humidity, but, just in case... would like to know where to go... preferably one with reasonable prices!

Golden Nugget Spa does hair and nails, also makeup and the usual spa stuff.

Wasn't there some kind of beauty salon at the Plaza that was supposed to have bikini-clad beauticians for the men and shirtless male stylists for the women? Perhaps that fell by the wayside with a lot of other things at the Plaza.

It is still there. From the advertising that I saw, I don't think that bikinis were involved!

I think El Cortez has one (a beauty salon ..and a seperate barber shop). I cant imagine their prices would be too high. I did use their barber shop last year and it was perfectly fine. Just an ordinary, neighborhood place. I suspect the beauty salon is the same.

El Cortez sounds like it would be about my speed... and it would certainly be convenient... and I join with you in believing their prices would be reasonable. I appreciate the info... thanks!
