The problem is the coins aren't made of real silver anymore....so you're playing to win something that's only value is "collector value" which is the same metric you use to value a beanie baby or Happy Meal toy.
20 years ago most casinos had these machines with real silver coins with customized prints. I had 5 of them but sold them all on EBay when Silver went to $30/oz at one point.
Plenty of machines by the valet parking entrance.
They still have a face value of $10 or $40, just redeem at the cage. If you save them, they are just junk tokens.
Also, silver is at $31 today.
I collected a few Silver Strikes from Four Queens and was curious if there had been any discussion on them here. What an amazing change in silver value in a short time. Who know if it will last but congrats to all the silver and silver strike collectors. As of today silver is at $115 per oz.

I have a 7 Dollars commerorative Coin from Harrah's Laughlin. It's one oz. fine silver. Is it anything worth?

if its this one, its worth it's value in silver which is ~$120 today. However due to market volatility and refiners being backlogged weeks, coin shops are wary of paying anything close to that right now, you'd probably get $90-100 today.
Next week, month, year? Could be $50 or could be $300 or more, there is a banking crisis going on behind the scenes.

I really have it here on my desk and it's still in the original plastic box. My uncle won that coin on a slot machine many many years back when Laughlin was a great place to visit. It's got a crying wolve next to a cactus in the desert. it says 999 fine silver. On the other side it say..."SEVEN DOLLARS Harrahs' Laughlin" 999 fine silver.
I don't plan to sell it, as I also collect rare things at my place. Thanks for giving me an update , Inigo.
