Although they don't have food, if you just want good beer, I'd suggest Banger Brewing Co. at the other end of the FSE - in the Neonopolis building. Really fine beer - most pints were $6 or $7, so pricey compared to casino options, but really good beer, brewed by passionate, knowledgeable people.

One drawback - they don't open until around 5:00.

Thanks for the updates
Could you take a photo of the beer taps, please?
Just need the beer selections.
I'll be there in 7 days.
Thank you.

I was there this past weekend. We walked past from MSS to Fremont many times. Never saw anyone in the garden. Does have real grass. Just empty.

Oh hell,That's depressing!
I'll just blow it off and hit the MSS,I guess.
I promised some pix and I'll do that. There won't be anyone in the way.

Here is the truth, not just by walking by but by going in! They have German beer and food! I was in there around 1 pm. Both days I went there, there I drank German beer with around 15 to 20 people on the grass sitting at tables. This was March 3rd. Same deal on March 13.

Yes,it's open. Not popular,yet.
NO SMOKING at the bar but outside is OK.Ask for an ashtray.
I had 3 cups of Shiner Bock. Yummy!
Sunny day and not too hot on that Wednesday.
