Blue Angel Motel?

I have read some articles and wanted to find the Blue Angel Sign. I could not find it? Has the motel and sign been removed?

Back in the day I would have not recommended seeing this without the doors on your car locked and having a loaded gun with you. Just not a good area of Vegas unless you were looking for a hooker and/or drugs. Now days its just dead, lots of run down and/or closed motels with free XXX movies etc. Just a few hookers left and few possibilities for drugs. Other than seeing the blue angel in person you will NOT be impressed with the trip to see it. If you look closely at the picture of the building in the post above this post, that is how the whole area looks.
