Can The D comps be used at GG DuPars?

I read somewhere on these forums that The D comps can be used at DuPars in Golden Gate. Does this also apply to coupons that were included on mailers? Silly question, but are the D and Golden Gate related properties?

Yes they are! If I'm remembering correctly, Derrick Stevens (sp?) has ownership in both.

Actually, I also remember reading that when Detroit and San Francisco were playing each other in the World Series, they both had some kind of bar Drink special depending on who won each game since the D has a Detroit theme and the Golden Gate has a San Francisco theme.

You can call either one on their 800 number and ask if you really need to know. Personally, I would not like to use a D comp at Golden Gate. Andiamos has such great food... even if the comp is not big... some of their appetizers are inexpensive... I really liked Jumbo Lump Crab & Lobster Cocktail “Louis.. in fact I made a meal of that and their lobster bisque. The Giant Meatball looked great, but I didn't order it. Their Lobster Black Truffle Ziti is world class, the asparagus with cipolini onions was good. All sides could be shared with 2 to 4 people. Some entrees are not too bad pricewise. Also I took strawberry cheesecake to go to my room one night. Dupars has great shrimp cocktail, otherwise no comparison with the food. Just got back from Vegas and looking forward to next year!!!

About a year ago, we asked at Dupars if we could use our food coupons that are included with the mail offers. At that time, they told us no. This may have changed since then.
