Circa offer

I didn't spend a penny in this place during my October trip, however I stayed at their sister property, The Golden Gate.  I was just emailed this offer.

Through February, this is the offer.

Cost $370 (including resort fee), $420 including taxes.

What you get:

2 nights hotel (Monday - Wednesday only)

$50 Legacy Club credit (this the spiffy top floor bar with views)

$100 food credit to be used at any Circa restaurant

Free day bed at the pool with no minimum purchase.  While the pools are heated, I'm not sure if the day bed offer is enticing in January or February, so I would toss that out as a non-valued gimme.

While their food and beverage prices are double what I prefer and generally hunt out, this is still a good deal for the calibre of 440 sq foot standard rooms here.

Boilerman - I received the same offer, after reading it I threw it in the trash.

I was incorrect on pricing.  I checked further, and the $300 offer is inclusive of the resort fee and taxes...........$300 out the door.  Nice deal.

Restricting the offer to only Mon-Wed really lessens its utility. They're not exactly being generous here--they're trying to fill rooms during the slowest part of the week.

Nonetheless, this is mildly encouraging. During the first few months of its operation, Circa was able to take advantage of the feeding frenzy to charge whatever they wanted. Now, maybe, just maybe, they're encountering a wee bit of price resistance.

And parenthetically--a $100 food credit at the Circa is like a $40 credit anywhere else. Consider that it wouldn't be enough to buy four people a pastrami sandwich and a Coke.

I probably have one in my inbox. For those that haven't been, it is a good deal so grab your sugar baby and go. Those standard rooms are nicer than anything else downtown and are sure to make your baby drop her panties.
