I have been going the Flame( formerly Robertas) for many years as a Las Vegas resident and even before living here. i have gone with friends, neighbors and even my darling mom who is now gone. I can note a number of changes apparent presently compared to when I first started going to gone are the fantastic breads before the meal now they are just a routine soft roll and a single piece of flat bread. Gone is the relish Tray of crudities to start with and gone is the salad included with the meal and also gone are the gigantic and flavorful shrimp for the shrimp cocktail which as a t still exist in the Shrimp Cocktail at the 777( size 8-12 and flavorful) which I enjoy for $12.99 I have split this many times. Plus prices at the Flame have gone up a bit as anywhere else. I generally go with the Wall Eyed Pike grilled. This dish used to come on a bed of an unusual vegetable called sea bean which has tripled in price as the waiter told me and it is no longer served. To this point the generous entree ( fish ) remains unchanged and is excellent as always. I enjoy the piano player that plays soothing dinner music. I also enjoy the ambiance and general feel of the room. I continue to give them my business gladly and enjoy each and every visit as I have a positive history of memories at this restaurant. One can always find an offer even in the LVA for this room. Still a baked potato is good for splitting and the garlic olive oil spinach is very good as are all the rest of the sides. While I dont go for the meat i always note generous and ample servings on the plates I view. It is a nice experience in my opinion and more reasonable than a number of other choices one can make.
