Cortez ATM free play offer

I was wondering if anyone has done this offer as mentioned in the March Advisor. Do you take a ATM receipt to the slot club? How does this work? Will the ATM dispense a grand? The ones in my hometown are lucky to give out 500 on a good day.
I'm interested in those same answers as well. We are headed to LV 3/30 and were hoping to give this a try.
I did it, go to the slot club counter first and the lady at the counter will make sure you are doing it right and give you a new slot card if you need one, I used my bank debit card to withdraw $1000.00 (the atm machine is right next to the slot club counter) and then you take the receipt to the cashier and the cashier gives you a coupon and you take the coupon back to the slot club lady and she puts it on your slot card( you need a four digit secret number to transfer free play onto slot machine).

You can do this once a month, but you need to earn 1500 points!

Good luck.

We did it as well. The first time you do it, you don't have to have earned any points. Afterwards to be eligible you do have to earn 1,500 points.

To get the max $50 in free slot play do you have to withdraw $1000 in a single transaction? I think my limit per day is $500. If I do it in 2 separate transactions of $500 on different days will they give me the free slot play for both withdrawals?
was there a transaction fee associated with the ATM withdraw? I have heard that some Las Vegas casinos put huge fees on their on site ATMs
My wife and I both did this for $50 this past Sunday. Everything worked just as beasport related in his post. I believe the ATM transaction fee was $3.50.

We went to the bar by the elevators to the parking garage and played $1 blackjack for 50 hands. We both netted just over $50, and got a free drink in the process. Although not a good long term play, video blackjack is a good low variance way to meet your freeplay playthrough requirements.

We did the $25 for $40 Slotplay offer at the Palms on this trip, as well as Hooter's. If you have both the ACG coupon and the LVA coupon for Hooters you can use one to meet the $10 preplay requirement for the other and net close to $20 using the video blackjack strategy
Hey Group,

Here is some more information about this promotion courtesy of the El Cortez newsletter for April-May 2013. It says that when you withdraw $200 or more from any of their ATM machines using your Bank ATM Card, your Direct Express Card, or your Credit Card, you will receive 5% in FREE PLAY!

It also says that it has to be on withdrawals of $200 or more and you can receive up to $50 per calendar month. I wonder if this means that you can for example do 5 $200 Withdrawals per month (for someone who had easier access there -- like a local) and still get the $50 in Freeplay (although I understand that you would then have to pay $3.50 X 5 [that's $17.50] in order to get the Freeplay that way)?

As for doing the Freeplay on Video Blackjack (which I have suggested in the past for the use of Freeplay), I think that you could spread out the Variance even further by instead of playing $1 per hand, playing at $0.25 per hand (which you can do -- at least at the bar by The Flame Restaurant).

Thank you - appreciate this info. Now, can you take $1000 out at one time, or does it depend on your bank?
We were there a few weeks ago. We did 2 withdrawals of $500 each. That is the max for our bank. You take the ATM receipt to the cage and they give you a voucher for the 5% which you take to the players club and they put the free play on your card. It was pretty easy.
