Crazy Cabana or Tower Room at El Cortez?

The main reason I prefer the Cabana room is the shower. Other wise I go for the tower rooms because I like stepping off elevator right into casino. Past few times I have gone, never turned on televisions. So it dosen't matter to me if there flat screen or not.

I stayed in one of the design-A-suites in the tower.
It was super cool but overpriced. But if they comped me that room I'd stay at El Cortez every visit to Vegas

We are staying in the Cabanas for the first time next week. I'm assuming that we check in across the street at the regular El Cortez. Is that correct, or does the Cabana building have its own check in?

Yes, you check in at the regular El Cortez. You have to show a room key to get into the cabana building.
