Culinary Union Strike Downtown?

I just read in LVA news that the Union is planning a strike Downtown June 1. Can anyone tell me what effect that may have on vacationers planning to stay downtown on and after June 1st -- and if alternate reservations elsewhere should be considered. Adding picketers to the already congested area, plus the potential disruption in food and drink service could cast quite a pall over a trip.

I am in my room at the Fremont right now. I asked around last night and found 2 serves that didn't even know the possibility and a third that said if it does happen it wont last long. I will keep asking and if I hear of anything I will report back

According to the news updates, all has been resolved.
So, we wont have to make our own drink or peel our own shrimp for the cocktail..

Good to know! I was looking forward to my Martini(s) in the El Cortez Parlour in a couple of days.

I was prepared to pull out my old bar tending skills and jump behind the bar this weekend..
