Our small local school district is projecting an additional $5 million will be required from the taxpayers to cover the excise tax due on the cadillac plan the teachers union negotiated. They currently have a "zero" copay plan. It could be that the Culinary Union currently has a cadillac plan that would require a big payout by the employers. I think the employers of unions have some big decisions to make in the next few years in regards to healthcare.
