The D and Golden Gate update

Does the D still have the free steak dinner for any four of a kind by the player's club offer? And does the D still have the lone nickel louses dueces machine upstairs that pays back over 101%?
sscccoach,

We were at the "D" during the month of March 2012. Yes, the free steak for any 4 of a kind and the (1) 5 cents loose deuces machines were there.

Be aware of a change on the free steak dinner. The coupon can only be used by the person who's name is on the coupon. I had two in my name and they would not allow my wife to use the other one even though we have a joint account.

Happened to us, too; I hit three quads in about 5 minutes (the slot attendant was really petulant and pissed), they told us the same thing. I politely complained to the restaurant manager, said there was no signage to that effect, and she let me use all three coupons but told me not to do it again. I won't; not a very good steak, pretty much got it out of my system.

The free steak dinner offer is only valid at the bank of machines by hotel registration, correct? Or is it good at any VP machine in the casino?
Right, only at the one bank of 8 or 10 slant-top coindroppers right across from the hotel desk. One machine is 8/5 BP and the others aren't worth playing (one short-pay triple bonus and the rest short-pay DDB).

#1 I'm not sure we should refer to female entertainers in LV as hos. This might be perceived as misogyny. #2 Some might find the contrast you describe more interesting than weird. This could be a new social trend, as the American population ages. Did the people in walkers seem interested in the table dancers, or were they just juxtaposed by chance?

The idiots who own this place are pansies. I won a little money off them in some contests they had the last few months, and they kicked me out
for being an advantage player. Really it wasn't that much coin. They only want you to play there if 1) You will double down on 13 when the dealer
shows a 9. 2) You are married to your cousin 3) Will get so drunk that you won't remember how much you lost there until the following Thursday, if then.

Anyone that says these guys are hip and willing to gamble must be shills for them.

GM there is a wimp. Had to track him down by walking back and forth to both casinos and make him tell me face to face. Even then the little weasel wouldn't look
me in the eye. IF YOU WIN BIG THERE, I HOPE YOUR EXPERIENCE IS BETTER THAN MINE. TOOK 20 min to cash my chips and again they weren't worth all the fuss.
So are you saying you're a good BJ player, and they kicked you out because of it? Isn't that pretty common? A hazard of the profession?
No decent bj player, but wouldn't classify myself as even a good counter. Look for overlays and situations that provide good opps. They said I took advantage of rules they created.
Shouldn't have been kicked, never been kicked b4, don't like it. I even asked what I could do to still play there, let them create
special rules for me if they wanted. BIZARRE.

Completely stand by my earlier comment. People can learn for themselves which I believe they ultimately will and their business will be affected in a way in which they deserve.
