Any reccomendations for where I can kick off my day with a steam room and swim Downtown. Will be staying at The Plaza and don't want to have to travel to the Strip if I don't have to. Thanks for your help.
I think your only choice would be the Golden Nugget downtown. I think maybe you could go to their websight and find out, and it's not far from the Plaza.
Thanks, I have looked at The Nugget and all I could gleen from their website is that they offer facials and massages. Would appreciate further details from anyone who might have used their facility
The Golden Nugget has a lovely spa. I had a manicure/pedicure a couple of months ago and was really pleased with the service. It's a beautiful place. You can spend all day there if you get only one treatment or salon service.
Some spas consider a haircut a 'spa service'. I have a crew cut and get my head 'buzzed' for about $25 and then get full use of the spa. Just ask for the price of a haircut and then ask if it's considered a spa service for confirmation that you can use the spa. Stu
I just dropped my wife off for her 1st message here at the Golden nugget,, so I checked and the spa 'does" have a whirlpool sauna, weight room and a steam room. I didntactually see it but the nice lady at the counter said they did AND its on the coupon (free 1 time use) that they gave us at check in.
