Dennie's on Fremont street

I probably should have posted this under food but anyways......

I have been to the Dennies on Fremont street 3 times now in the last 6 months. It is brand spanking new, in fact it still has that "new" smell to it. It's very modern and.......... well, that's about all that I can say good about it!

My wife and I have had horrible service all 3 times I have gone in. Everything from the buss boy having his black uniform pants hanging down so his underwear over his ass was almost completely visible. Dress the way you want, but not while I am eating!!! Waitresses not keeping water or coffee cups full, and worst of all the food came back either not what I ordered or not the way I want it cooked, all 3 times!!

I gave them mulligans for the 1st two visits as they just opened and crap happens when you 1st open any establishment, but this is getting ridiculous! I think I will go back to good ol Magnolia's Veranda in the four queens for breakfast where I probably should have gone in the first place from now on!

weggie
I might give a restaurant one mulligan, but never two.
Any business that would hire and continue to employ a worker who cannot dress like a human being will never get my business once, much less 3 times.

Dutifully added to doc's hate list: alien fashion.

I don't eat at an awful lot of Denny's but I can' think of a single one that had outstanding service. Long waits for refills is the norm.

True - but their "Moons over Mi-Hammy" sandwich is worth the cockroach eggs that come in your drinking glass. Seriously, if you've never had this sandwich you need to. It rocks.
