Design-A-Suite @ El Cortez

Thinking about trying one of these. I want a really nice room downtown and am willing to pay up to $150/night for three weeknights in December. I refuse to stay at Golden Nugget.

I was thinking about trying one of the new Design-A-Suite's at El Cortez in the Tower. Has anyone tried one of these? How much are they? And do they all have Jacuzzi's and wet bars?

Thanks!
Just booked one for three weeknights in December...$150/night. All suites have a jacuzzi.
Hey little buddy, just got back Saturday from my 4th stay in the new suites, all different ones. I offered my help on your last thread on this topic, no response from you. So I sure your not interested on my input. Great reception of Fox News!

All input is always welcome....even from the Fox News crowd =)

Suites are very nice. I would suggest room 1200. Call and ask for it. By far the nicest suite of the 4 I have stayed in. 2 large screen tv's, fridge, desk, nice, updated bathrooms. No wet bar. Nice decor in each suite. I have seen the four designs used in all suites.

The lounge is very nice. Not much business as there are different rules for the lounge then the other bars. The ELCO is looking at the rules and I think they will change them to bring in more business to the lounge.

Still great food in the Flame and Coffee Shop. The service is great in the ELCO and everybody is nice.

I suggest you introduce yourself to Nords, the casino host. Tell Nords you know Jeff Penick, you have been a customer for awhile and I sure you will get a meal or two comped. Tell him you are staying in a suite. Ask for the comp. Enjoy.
Good stuff, Jeff. What was the theme in your suite. Strictly based on the pictures I think I like the "Rec Room" suite the best but pictures normally dont tell the whole story.

Nords has been there awhile. I'll be sure to say hi.
