Dont expect cheap prices in the Walgreens on Freemont. IMO any Walgreens in LV has to be cheaper. If I need a number of personal items from Walgreens/CVS I usually rent a car and go out the locals neighborhood to purchase things.

Do however get a Players card at the 4 Queens - Great Players club specials in the Magnollia restuarnt!

Speaking of ATM fees Downtown, the Heart Attack Grill has an
ATM machine and only charges 75 cents, their sign states something
like " No checks accepted here, You might die before it clears " that's
why our ATM is only 75 cents.

I have to disagree with #2 It's a fun thing to do your first time downtown....I say go for it. It like saying don't watch the Belligio fountains..it's just water shooting up in the air.
