Downtown Comps

I realize there is not a definitive answer but at what levels do you have to play BlackJack at to get rated/comps?
I usually start at the $10 level and depending upon how things go maybe increase. I am from the East Coast and in Atlantic City I can't usually even find a $10 table no less get a comp.

Depends on how long you play. I've played at the Fitz for 6 hours at $10/hand and gotten free room offers (days depends on the season). Lately I've been playing $25/hand per hand and don't seem to be getting a large difference in the comps. 3 nights free, plus a little food.

One session last year they had me in for 3 hours at $100/hand and I received nothing different. I was on a huge winning streak and the drinks were coming by quickly. Normally I try to not go above the $25/hand max but double jacks sometimes have more say in what I play than I do.

You might try playing at the Golden Gate.

They have been sending me comps now every month and I only play there about 15-20 minutes per trip.

I like DuPars for a quick meal and since it's comped...

I have never stayed in their rooms but I understand they have been refurbished.

Also, they are building a new tower.
I think it's an all-suite one listing 1600 square
feet as the size.

I may stay in one of those whenever they finish it.

$25/hand 4 hours a day will get you close to full RFB at every downtown casino with the possible exception of the Golden Nugget. Steady $5 play will get you free mid-week rooms at most of them too. I would suggest that if you have a particular casino (or 2 or 3) in mind, call them and ask to talk to a host. Ask the host(s) what you can expect for comps at any level of play you are comfortable with. They will tell you.
