Downtown Grand offers

Hey all,

I am looking to book a room at the Downtown Grand this weekend. I got the standard 2 free night offer but misplaced the mailer. Does anyone have the offer code for this?

Sorry to inform you their mailers clearly states that you are required you to submit the coupon at check in. It might all be by design to catch people who inadvertently misplace or forget their flyer. The coupon code is dependent on the offer you earned based on you play! Sorry but I would not recommend trying to beat the system (Not having the coupon in hand at check-in) with this property!!

One other sidebar. My wife and I got a SEPARATE offer each for 2 room nights each for this property and when trying to book back to back separate reservations for 4 nights in a row we were told by the agent paraphrased "I am sorry and it does NOT say on the coupon but you cannot book back to back stays with this property." I was upset because the coupon DID NOT say anything to that affect. Not even the good old Las Vegas catch all phrase "Management Reserves All Rights!"

Were staying separate broken up bookings later this month but will not nor recommend anyone doing any further business with this property. This to us is a bitter pill to swallow considering this is a brand new property and first impressions last in my book!

Anthony Curtis informed by email that he had the same type of dealings with management of this property when soliciting an offer for his MRB. BUYER BEWARE!

We intended to visit next week. We will avoid. Thanks for the heads-up. When I visit Vegas I have no patience with airheads and this kind of customer service must have been designed by airheads. We will take our business elsewhere.

EDIT UPDATE: Finally found the mailer, so all is well!

But just so others know, I've booked twice through my offers for two nights and have never been asked for the coupon at check in, so I was willing to risk it. I just couldn't redeem for my food & beverage without it.

Do any of these offers include free play? Are they actually sending out mailers with only food & beverage?

I got an offer with a $10 matchplay coupon attached to it. YEEEEEEE haw.

I dont know if thats in addition to the one they give you with the funbook...or if its just the same one. I'll be staying one night in May.

Did anyone already get their April Mailer? My husband got one last month for March and it came the second week of March. We leave Saturday and were hoping to use the free food offer. We haven't received anything for April yet.

I've noticed that there are no replies to this post since April. What has been the experience of LVA members at this property? I know my first (and second) times gambling there weren't very promising in terms of getting offers. Very surprising considering it's a newish property and the casino is DEAD!

I get free room offers regularly. Just booked 2 free nights again in September. I spent alot of money in the casino on my first visit...hardly anything on my second...and I keep getting the same offer. The plan for September is the same...stay free at Downtown Grand and play most of my cash elsewhere. I'll utilize their craps table, though.

I'm happy to make it my new home downtown. The rooms are comfortable and I like the bars/eateries in the close proximity.

I got two offers the other day.

One gave me two nights any day of the week $30 FP and $10 in food. The other was for two free nights Sun-Thur and $100 flight reimbursement. I called and asked what that meant and I was told up to $100 if FP if you show your flight receipt. I quickly booked it!
