Downtown Parking??

Where is a good place to park downtown? Valet preferred or parking garage, safe and close to the fun!!! Been a while since I was there.......Thanks in advance
Depends on where you're going. The El Cortez is a good place to park, and the Plaza also is a good place to park. But if you're going to the Plaza, the El Cortez is a bad place to park, and vice versa.

All of the casino hotels have valet, and all except for Downtown Grand have their own self-parking.
I always use the Golden Gate Valet when downtown. I usually never have to wait more than a couple of minutes to drop off or pick up my car. A short walk thru the casino, and you are out onto the FSE. I usually cruise north up Main St from the strip; easy access to the GG valet. Attendants have always been courteous and really appreciate the tips.

Glasses can affect yoiur vision; especially when they have been emptied several times....

Age should always be respected; especially when its bottled....

Spring Break 2000 !!!
Ive had good luck & no worries parking in the GN ramp.

One thing to consider, a few of the downtown casinos are starting to charge for parking.

Free parking can be found at oppossitte ends of Fremont...at El Cortez and Main Street Station. And you are going to have to walk a solid block to get to the heart of Fremont St in either case.

Most of the other places in the heart of Fremont change their parking fees with the seasons. Most of the time you have to pay something. I think Valet parking is free at Golden Gate...and thats a good place to valet because the lot is small (you dont wait more than a minute for them to get your car).
MSS started charging, with no cage redemption, unless you dine or put up 30 min play at x per hand; sapphire/ems comped. My opinion is valet at grand. it's easy to get to from the casino center exit, well lit, and not too busy most times. Good luck!
My 2 favorite lots to park and they are Valet are either the Golden Gate or the El Cortez. Both lots have a good crew working and I have never had an issue with either and consider both winners. I go Downtown on a regular basis.
Just left Vegas & always parked @ Main St. Station. They now charge $3.00. I believe you can validate your ticket @ the casino cage. Don't know if you have to stay @ the casino or not.
Four Queens has 3-hr validated parking. Just bring your ticket to the cashier cage and get it stamped. Did this yesterday.
Went downtown last week and slide right into the Grand Valet off 4th street. Walked around to both ends of Fremont as the Grand is pretty centralized. Upon return got the car back in about 5 minutes. Very easy in and out and location is close to Freeway on and off ramps.
