Downtown Poker

They closed the poker room.

Thanks for the info. That's a major bummer, I got reservations for 8 days there in June mostly because of the poker tournaments and of course the price. Guess I'll cancel and stay at the El Cortez or Golden Nugget.

Are there any plans for the Plaza to reopen a poker room. I guess they must have closed it after the remodel at least I haven't seen anything on their website about having one.

I think the Plaza poker room shut down even before they closed for remodeling. At the end of its days, it was just a couple of tables in a corner of the casino. It was one of the last places for low-cost (like $40) SNGs and they still dealt Pan up until about 4-5 years ago. I wish at least one of the remodeled casinos (Plaza, Spike, Fitz) would put in a poker room, but I'm not optimistic.
