Dress for Hugos Cellar at Four Queens?

We try to pack light for our trip to Vegas.  Wear mostly shorts, polo shirt, and sandals.  What do I need to wear for Hugos Cellar?  I have no problem bringing Docker type pants, but the extra shoes take up a lot of room in a small suitcase.

Do people wear jeans in there?  Dress shorts?  It says "Elegant dining in a Casual Setting."  Most advice appreciated.

I think it is what they call "business casual"  but how you interpret that is up to you for the most part.

Here is one website's definition of business casual.

Business Casual

I'm pretty sure they dont enforce it too strictly.    I distinctly recall seeing a table of guys wearing jeans when I ate there a few years back.   They did stand out, however, as everyone else was dressed a little more nicely. It was also not long after the big recession so perhaps Hugo's was being a little more lax.  Not sure.

My own philosophy is to try and respect the dress code as much as possible.   People propose to their future wives in places like that.   I dont want to cheapen up the atmosphere with my flip flops and Big Johnson t-shirt  =)

I was at Hugos last Sunday. Very few if any men wore a coat and tie. Dockers and a polo shirt are fine. Shoes are probably desired. I wore new balance shoes no problem. I usually wear these all the time when I am in Las Vegas and pack a pair of rubber sandals to wear inside the hotel room.

I ate at Hugo's several times in shorts & tennies.  They usually put me in he back area....   No problem.  I usually do take an outer shirt to cover up my pocket tee & suspenders.
