El Cortez ATM fee rebate

Can anybody confirm for me that El Co is still rebating ATM fees in free play? Thanks!

I can't confirm it, but will comment on it if I may. the last time I used it was August 2015. if you r not a local they will hesitate, then lecture you, and then eventually give it to you. they want you to have earned X amount of points in the previous month, and then you have to explain to them that you live in another state and that it would have been impossible because you have not been to Vegas since your last vacation. I can understand them wanting to get some play out of you but this drives me nuts. I think the max rebate is $50.00, so I usually withdraw a $1,000.00. it has always been a smoky casino, and then a few years ago, they started pumping in a fragrance to try to cover it up. I would stay and gamble longer at the EC if not for the smoke and fragrance that almost immediately triggers breathing problems for me.

I did the rebate last month in January. Anyone can do it once a year. In order to do it again in the same calendar year you must earn 750 base points after your ATM withdrawal. My ATM card only allows me to take out $500/day maximum. They let me do that 2 days in a row to earn the $50 total free play. The Tez usually does an IRS tax refund check cashing 5% free play deal as well.

How do you go about it? Hit the AMT and go where? I did it a few years ago...believe it was the cash cage.

check with the players club and or cage before you make your atm withdrawal, just to make sure you are eligible. then take your atm receipt to the cage, and then back to the players club and your free play will be loaded.
