Any airline works. There is a limit on how many you can redeem in one year. I think it's 3. You also get a spin on the kiosk wheel, for $10-1000 in freeplay. I tried to redeem this on my Labor Day and NYE trips last year. They told me I had already hit the limit so I was no longer eligible. That did not seem right, but I did not make a fuss. On Jan 1st, there were 2 Boarding Pass offers waiting for me to collect. I think their software that manages these is a little screwy.
When a boothling tells you that you "can't" redeem or aren't "eligible" for a promo, the chance that you're being told the truth is 27% (16% if it's near the end of the boothling's shift). Of course, that phraseology is just code for "I'm not sure, but I'm too fucking lazy to look it up or ask my supervisor, so I'll just lie to this guy and maybe he'll go away."
So if you get told something by a boothling that doesn't seem right, ask to talk to its supervisor. You'll get a death glare from the boothling, but chances are, your issue will be resolved favorably. I can't recount the number of times the supervisor has told the boothling that yes, I'm eligible for this offer.
It's a little-known fact, but candidates for boothling positions are given an IQ test. If their IQs are over 80, they're assigned to other positions.
