The Tez will usually give out food, i.e. White Castle, Marie Callender's pie, during certain holidays. Anyone play there when they've done that? Does it attract the less fortunate who play a minimal amount just to get food?
I was there when they were giving out White Castle hamburgers. They were pushing around a cart asking whoever was gambling it they wanted a couple. Just the regular crowd while this was going on. But I could tell they were frozen previously. They were still OK, but I rather have them fresh from the grill. I usually have them once a month here in Michigan. DJH
I was there when they gave out slices of Marie Callendar cherry pie (either Presidents' Day or Memorial Day, I forget which). I did not notice anything out of the ordinary, and actually I was surprised when a slice of pie appeared in front of me.
Agree w/ Marlo. We were hanging out on a "free pie" day. A sweet young lady was pushing around a cart full of cherry pie and gave us a huge slice. Actually, not many people were into it. I think more people said no than yes.
