El Cortez: free play for ATM withdrawal?

In October, I made two $500 withdrawals from an El Cortez ATM within 24 hours (different days). I paid a $3.50 fee each time, $7.00 total. My bank did not charge me another fee. The $500-at-a-time limit is imposed by my bank, not the machine.

$7.00 for $50.00 in freeplay is worth it to me when I'm in the area.

Yea,I thought it was the bank/credit union that set the withdrawal limits, not the machine.I remember also withdrawing $500 twice on my last trip.
Chilcoot--

I'm planning to try this for the first time next week; have a max $500 w/drawal on my ATM, so would need to use your method of 2 w/drawals over 2 days. But I also notice we're only allowed to do this once. Did you just save the ATM receipt from the 1st day and turn it in w/the other on the 2nd? And do you work w/the player's club, or someplace else?

Any info you could provide from your experience would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
John
What I did was make 2 $500 withdrawls on different calendar days but within 24 hours of each other. That worked with the slot club. I just showed the two receipts to personnel at the slot club right after I made that second withdrawal, and they gave me $50 in free play.

You can do this every month. However, after the first time, you cannot do it in subsequent months unless you've earned at least 1,500 base points during the preceding calendar month.

BTW, I hope to do it again next week. But this time I'm going to withdraw $500 twice on the same day using different accounts.

I do wonder if this earning at least 1,500 base points is also applicable to people who live out-of-state?

Got it--thank you!
Just got back from the Tez on Tuesday. I can verify the following info. The ATM fee is $3.50. I earned 1700+ BASE POINTS in 12/13 which was the last time I was there. They let me do the program, even though I earned zero points in 1/14.(I'm out of state). If your bank charges you more than $3.50 it's between you and your bank. If you have what's known as compensating balances or simply an account which waves other banks fees for non system ATM transactions then your fee could be as low as zero. As I side note I own and operate an ATM company.

The Tez also had a local coupon for $10 in free play in a local magazine. Interestingly, the slot club wouldn't let me use it as it also stated that you have to earn 1500 base points the previous month.

On the day you redeem the free play for the ATM program you will not be allowed to also redeem LVA or ACG free play offers. The slot club told me one free play offer per day. Next day no problem.

Thanks for the info. Yes, I was recently told that since I have a 5X points offer from EC itself and now there is a printable coupon for (one of the choices is) 5X points from the ACG website, that I could use both coupons but they would have to be on separate days but that you could do them one day after the other.

But I do wonder if maybe they'd allow a Freeplay coupon and a 5X points offer on the same day? I would guess maybe not but then again, who knows.

The Tez slot club let me pick the day to apply the 5X points coupon. The day starts at midnight and goes for 24 hours. Their was no restriction of applying the 5X points tied to free play awarded. Not sure if the free play earns points at the Tez though. I think the answer is no at the Tez and yes at Ellis Island but I'm not sure.

Yes, I have done the 5X points offer before and so I do what I can to come right before the new day and then set it up to start at 12 Midnight.

I hoped that they didn't have a problem with using two different types of coupon offers -- 5X points plus Freeplay Dollars, but I wasn't completely sure about that.
