El Cortez Pavillion

Has anyone stayed in the El Cortez Pavilion rooms recently? I'm wondering if they have room safes. I stayed in one several years ago and they did not. I was considering staying in one on my next trip but I really need a room safe.

Last time I stayed in one was about nine months ago. No room safe, kinda old and decrepit room, mattress sucked, always noisy. Cabana suites are really nice, but cost a bit more. If you're on a tight budget I would suggest trying a Vintage room....

Thanks...i need something cheap to cover friday,saturday nights. I can pay up for the tower but didnt want to if the Pavillion had a safe

No safe in the Pavillion room my last stay as well.
I stayed there 5 nights this past week in a Tower room,
and it had a safe, as well as a fridge. But a call might be worth
it since they may have put safes in. " ALSO " a nice touch that
they recently did was go to a new room card " reader " you just
pass your key in front of the reader and it accepts it, no more putting
it in the slot and waiting for it to accept.
