El Cortez Room Question

I was just looking at some trip photos someone posted with descriptions.
I ran across someone saying that the tower rooms at the El Cortez have balconies.
Anyone know if they do and if you can sit out on them?
I haven't stayed there yet, but have an offer I'd use if I can have some balcony time!
We have stayed in the El Cortez tower several times (and will be back in a few weeks) and never had a balcony. Based on the good photo at Wikipedia it looks like the top 2 floors might have balconies. I'm guessing those are all suites. I think Jackie has the entire top floor.

Balconies or not, the El Cortez has become our favorite place to stay in town. The standard tower rooms are nice, big and comfortable. The casino has better odds, lower limits, and being a block or so away from the canopy means it's much more quiet than all the hotels along the FSE.

We also love the restaurants. Cafe Cortez is a cut above most hotel coffee shops and The Flame is very nice and a super bargain with one of the coupons from the LVA or a gift certificate from restaurant. com

I stayed in a Tower room several months ago and the little balcony isn't functional, the window only slid open
about 4 inches, I was on the 11th floor, that being said I couldn't answer about the top floors, if you could get
one of those rooms, you might have a chance. The balconies are only about a foot or so wide, even if the window was functional, you dont have enough room for a chair.
shoot! The Gold Spike, of all places say they have balconies in their mini-suites but I can't find any pictures. I wonder why they don't promote that or at least show a photo?
