I've been going to Vegas for about 10 years now. I've never really hit it big, a few $100 slot jackpots here and there, maybe a nice run at the BJ tables that awarded me $300-$400. Outside of a $600 slot hit at 4 Queens this summer, I have never hit it big. Im ok with this too, because Im a low roller, I know to make money you have to spend money. I like to spend $5's not $50's at the casinos.
This weekend I was sitting at my local watering hole watching the Florida vs SC game playing some bar top Keno. This is Georgia Lottery Keno so each round is $1, regardless of how may rounds you play. I like to play 10 rounds with the multiplier (extra $1 a round), so Ill drop $20 for 30 mins of play. I usually hit a few numbers here and there, nothing big, just enough to get my money back and every now and then Ill win $50 or $60.
Finally, on Saturday afternoon my numbers hit. 7 of 8 with a 5x multiplier: $2500!
After all my trips to Vegas, who would have thought it would be a small bar just north of Atlanta that would pay off.. I know its not big time, but its pretty big to this low roller.
I think Im taking my winnings to Vegas..
