The Flame or Top of Binions Steakhouse..

I wear shorts to any restaurants in Vegas. However, I refuse to wear a t-shirt. I usually go with a polo. Back to the original question, I would also vote for Binions, although I also like the Flame.

I'll check out the scene at Binions before going up and since all (well most) of the reviews for The Flame have been positive, so I may hit both..

I would suggest you go to both, especially as it appears you probably have the book. I don't think you will be disappointed with either. I would have stated that in my first post, but, I have learned to answer the question, and nothing more. You will thank yourself if you go to both (I still lean towards Binion's).

Have had good experiences at both - but the OVERALL (inclusive of the view) experience at Binion's makes it the better play if you have to choose one over the other.

But agreed - with book in hand - nothing wrong with hitting them both!

Tough question. We just returned last night after doing both Binions and Flame. We had excellent meals t both of them.
Binions is a bit more expensive, but the view and service are great. We had been over-buffeting, so when we got to Binions my wife asked if we could share their 16 oz prime rib. Before I could even get embarrassed the waiter said it wouldn't be a problem and if we wanted 2 potatoes and veggies it would be a $10 charge; otherwise there would be no charge. My wife hates green beans, so we just took the extra plate. The 16oz prime rib was huge (20-24oz), and we couldn't finish it all; the potato was huge and more than enough split; and I got the green beans. We also shared a huge spinache salad (served in two bowls). With the 25% off MRB coupon our bill came to $43.
The Flame has been remodeled. The service was good. The meals were excellent, and the $31 bill after the $30 MRB coupon was ridiculous for the meals we enjoyed.
I'm glad we had time to do both.

Wife and had dinner last Sept. for our 30th anv. and it was great. I wore shorts and a nice polo, it was no problem at all. We will be back next week with my brother and his wife, can you use 2 coupons at one table ? Thanks for help.

I would think so. We used two of the former 2-fer coupon in the past. We used the current one - 25% off - on a table of four in May. So that works, too!

I've eaten at both several times.
