Well, let's see: play VP, $4800 coin-in to get 600 points. $4800 getting $60 is +1.25%. in the process, you will also earn 0.91% (not certain of the precise figure) in comps and free play. So, an over 2% return. If you play their 9/6 JOB, that will cost you about 0.5%; if you play their 10/7 DB (assuming that it still awards 1 pt/$8), that's.a 100.17% game, but in practice, a break even proposition (the optimal strategy is quite complex).

The best game at Binions is 8/5 Bonus, returning 99.17%. The game is very easy (identical strategy to JOB), and you still get that over 2% return from the promo and the slot club.

So the best way to go is to play the DB at 4Q and the BP at Binions. Use the LVA food coupons for Magnolia's and Binions Cafe, but don't eat there again, as their prices have skyrocketed. Stay at 4Q or Apache and use your comps to reduce your hotel bill.

I will be arriving at Four Queens on the 30th, looking forward to seeing the new rooms, trying the new coffee shop and some great wins at Video Poker.

Oh, so a Starbucks-y thing, not a restaurant.

That's what it looks like.  It's in the space near the hotel lobby where the Avis rental used to be.
