Four Queens/Binion's November December 2024 Promotions

Agreed, a host can issue discretionary comps, reservation agents can not. I personally have never had a reservation agent tell me I had no offfers and later found out that I did - it has never happened to me.  These agents have access to all of your information concerning offers which is necessary for those who wish to make reservations for a future stay. Even though it is the end of September, my reservation agent was able to tell me of my Nov/Dec offers that I had/have.  But, if you are unsure, ask to speak with a host. Even though they have the same information as a reservation agent will have, the can give discretionary comps, if warranted.

Not to belabor the point, but a reservation agent cannot see the action you've given the casino. That's why you want to talk to a host. Furthermore, if during your stay, you give them reasonable action, it's always a good idea to see if you can get any additional room charges (or food) comped away.

There are also times when the action you gave them is too recent to have generated an offer. I got three nights back in May directly from a host in that fashion.

I follow the Queen of Comps' advice. It NEVER hurts to ask!

Everything you say here is true.

Just got my 4Q mailer this afternoon.

600 points in November and December gets $40 in free slot play,  Also have $40 in free slot play for both November and December.

My postcard did include a very good room deal, two free room nights in both November and December plus 30% off the regular room rates.  I booked 6 days in December as the National Rodeo Finals end.  I am coming in on a Saturday and was very surprised, (not to mention happy) that the two free nights are the FIRST two nights.  That meant that the most expensive night (Saturday) as well as Sunday are free.  I would have thought that the two least expensive nights would have been the free ones.  Nice surprise!

LOVE the Four Queens!

Well guess what just showed in the mail today?!  Same offer as Texas Transplant just mentioned.  Looks like I'll be making a trip to Vegas in December!

Yeah, that's nice, and the best part is that the offer is usable on a weekend day at all; we've all seen offers that aren't usable on a Friday or Saturday. Though I do wish that you could simply comp away the two most expensive nights, as for instance I arrived on a Wednesday and wanted to stay through Sunday night, but could only use my free nights on the cheaper Wed/Thu.

I just now thought that maybe I should nail down a December reservation. I called Reservations and they did indeed have my room offer. Like yours, two free nights + 30% discount + $40 free play. So I booked the weekend before Xmas and three additional nights. I like the Apache rooms, and they're inexpensive, so I booked there rather than at the 4Q. Total bill: $115. Gotta love it!

When using my Apache/ 4Queens room offers, I offer this information. The Apache room offer is only good for the smallest rooms that they have. These rooms do not have a refrigerator or a coffee maker, and these rooms have only one bed. At the 4 Queens, I reserve a South tower room with two beds (one bed is always more comfortable than the other), and they have both a refrigerator and a coffee maker. (If you want/need more coffee, ask for more coffee when you check in or during your stay at the check in desk - coffee is free.) These rooms are more spacious and they are a quick elevator ride down to the casino. Also, if you have a car, bring your parking ticket to the check in desk when checking in and they will give you a parking pass that you scan  (for free) when coming and going.

Love it!  Thanks for all the helpful info!

As I have said before, I've been pretty loyal to Boyd since they have comped me rooms for quite some time dating back to some bowling tourneys I did in the 2000's.  That being said, thieir unwillingness to participate with LVA and their VERY crappy comps on VP has put the nail in the coffin.  4Q here I come.

Not true--I've stayed at the Apache a number of times, and I got their "deluxe" rooms three different times. Those rooms are larger and do indeed have a coffee maker and fridge--if you ask for the fridge. It is true that the Apache rooms are smaller and most of them have only one bed. I wouldn't recommend them for two people, unless they don't mind tight quarters. The small bathrooms are the real problem.

However, since I'm usually visiting solo, the smaller Apache rooms don't bother me. And you can save $15-25 a night during the week and LOTS more than that over the weekend compared to the 4Q. And until the 4Q completes their renovation, the Apache might be the only choice during a busy period.

As far as parking is concerned, when I self-park, the Apache garage is very conveniient. And I use 4Q free valet when I'm feeling lazy--since I gamble/eat at the 4Q but not the Apache.

You'll be surprised at the difference. Boyd treats its customers like shit--even those who have been customers for 20+ years. As far as comps for your play are concerned, Boyd gives you 0.05%--that's FIFTY CENTS for every thousand bucks you put in, while 4Q gives you 0.3125% cash back and 0.625% comps. That same $1000 would earn you almost $10 in cash and comps. If you stick to the very best pay schedules, 4Q is pretty much the last place in town where you can be in positive territory just from what you normally earn from the players' club (South Point is breakeven before promos are considered).

When you eat at Magnolia's (and you will), try the gumbo.

I just called the Apache and was told that the rooms available with the offer are (1) a standard room, with no refrigerator -AND (2) a premiun room that has a refrigerator. Neither room has a coffee maker. In the past I had been told that with the offer, only a standard room was available to book. I have no idea why I was told that, but I now know that a prmium room is also a choice. Sorry if I misled anyone about the rooms.
