Four Queens/Binion's November December 2024 Promotions

I like the Apache rooms.  Just fine for one person.  Very friendly staff, and no resort fee, which is amazing.

You'll be surprised at the difference. Boyd treats its customers like shit--even those who have been customers for 20+ years. As far as comps for your play are concerned, Boyd gives you 0.05%--that's FIFTY CENTS for every thousand bucks you put in, while 4Q gives you 0.3125% cash back and 0.625% comps. That same $1000 would earn you almost $10 in cash and comps. If you stick to the very best pay schedules, 4Q is pretty much the last place in town where you can be in positive territory just from what you normally earn from the players' club (South Point is breakeven before promos are considered).

When you eat at Magnolia's (and you will), try the gumbo.

Tried the gumbo last time there.  EXCELLENT.  You just can't go wrong with the 4Q.  I am a fan.  This will be my new "place".

I've been to SP and I like it.  Problem is I live in Eastern AZ and it sounds like SP isn't the best when it comes to offers for out-of-towners,.  I'll stick with 4Q and Emerald Island/Rainbow.  They appreciate my business and make it worth my while.

Think I'll try to get on their map during my November trip.

Got my first mailer from Emerald Island/Rainbow after my wife and I stopped in for some play in Sept.  Does anybody happen to know how this 25x points works on video poker?  They list times like 12am-2am, 4am-6am, 10am-12pm, 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm.  It can't be full two blocks, can it?  Or is it just one of them randomly picked?

Yeah, that's nice, and the best part is that the offer is usable on a weekend day at all; we've all seen offers that aren't usable on a Friday or Saturday. Though I do wish that you could simply comp away the two most expensive nights, as for instance I arrived on a Wednesday and wanted to stay through Sunday night, but could only use my free nights on the cheaper Wed/Thu.

I just now thought that maybe I should nail down a December reservation. I called Reservations and they did indeed have my room offer. Like yours, two free nights + 30% discount + $40 free play. So I booked the weekend before Xmas and three additional nights. I like the Apache rooms, and they're inexpensive, so I booked there rather than at the 4Q. Total bill: $115. Gotta love it!

I already had my December reservation, made it on May.  I wanted to get the promotional price included.  Interestingly, for the first time I didn't have to give them my reservation number. The agent said that it already showed up based on my phone number.  Getting the free nights and lower rate only took a couple of minutes.

Our total bill for 6 nights totals is about $220.  My friend and I stay in the South Tower, premium room, two queens,walk-in shower, no smoking.  I also specify to be above the 12 floor as far away from Fremont as possible.  The last two times we got the same room on the 15th floor.  It was about as far away from Fremont as you could get.   We need the refrigerator in the 4Q premium room if for no other reason than we always get a growler or two of Chicago Brewing root beer to keep in the room.  Nothing better before bedtime to prevent dehydration.

I also made a May, 2025 reservation.  The agent literally cut and pasted my current room request into it...took about 5 minutes.  They've been a pleasure to work with.

Here's how it works: first of all, yes, the multipliers apply to ALL of those periods, every day. However, you did say that you like to play multi-line, and the multipliers only apply to single-line. For me, fine, whatever--I play the NSUD for 100 pennies a hand and rack up the pointskies.

I try to make my mealtimes there in between the multiplier periods. Also, if I'm earning points for cashback, I might play multi-line, as only your base earned points count for that anyway. I also confess to an addiction to Ultimate X, which can be found in low denoms (30 cents a hand) in several banks, and the paytables are 99%--fans of the game know that the paytables for UX are usually shit. Ditto for Super Times Pay. EI is a great place to get your feet wet on some of those gimmick games.

What was the mailer you got? Usually, it's coupons for a free meal once a week.

OK, thanks.  So, essentially just switch over to single line when the VP multipliers hit you are saying?

The mailer was a bunch of info on slot machines, some parties and yes, coupons for a free meal.  Nothing wrong with that.  I'm planning on going Tues and Wed on my upcoming November trip.  I just like getting out of the big casinos for a bit.  (Even Southpoint)

Yeah, keep track of the times. When you insert your card before the multipliers actually start, there may be a little bit of a lag, and you might think that you're only getting regular points. It'll catch up; pull it and re-insert if you want to verify that you're getting the bonus.

Kevin:  When you rack up points during multiplier time, how do you cash it out since there is no free play options at these casinos?

The primary way I use the points I earn is to go to town on meals. The other options are to use them at their "merchant partners," various businesses that are nearby, on Water Street and vicinity. There are also some nice gifts you can buy with points, like jewelry, purses, watches, etc.

Given the number of frequent players I see with millions of accumulated points on their meters, it must be common to earn your points faster than you can spend them. At the stakes I play--$1-2/hand--I pay for everything I want to eat and still, I've got about half a million points in my account (worth about $300).

Depending on the precise stakes I use and the game I play, it takes me about 90 minutes to earn enough points for a complete dinner, beverage included.

It's just as well that you can't free play-ize your points. A horde of bottom-feeding APs would quickly crush the life out of all the promos, like they did at the formerly fabulous VP joint just down the road, the Skyline. You can't give 1.6% away on an already breakeven game if that can be turned into cash.

Yep, totally agree.  And that is exactly what happened at Skyline.
