Four Queens VP Tournament

Has anyone done a VP tournament at the Four Queens? If so, is the game DDB or something else? I have an invite for the tournament in a couple of weeks. Entry is free so any chance of winning is a pure bonus.

Thanks in advance.
The tournaments we've done in the past were always on DB.
10/7 DB.

Its a fun tourney, with (usually) a continental breakfast the first day and a buffet breakfast the second. And (usually) a free gift as well. I'm saying "usually" because that was how it was in the past. Hope its the same for 2012.

The tourney is well run and the 4Q personnel are great!!
We will be there. This time the postcard does not mention anything about the buffet breakfast on the second day. It was a pretty good "free" breakfast. Either they are cutting back or they just forgot to print it.

I thought the buffet breakfast was always on the first day and never on the second one.
I think the first day is called a "continental"breakfast and the second day is the "buffet". The first day is doughnuts and fruit, while the second day had eggs, meat, and in general, more of a real meal.
Thanks Cheese, I didn't know that. I'm not an early riser so I never get up on Sunday to check that out. I remember some events in the past that served more options on Saturday but you are correct that it has been a Contintental breakfast on Saturday for a while. I was unaware of the Sunday option.
Will they let us know where to go at the registration desk when we check in Friday? Sorry for the clueless questions. We've been going to Vegas for years but this will be the first tournament other than the random free slot tourney.
Usually, they either give us info at check in, or they later slide an envelope under our room door. I would guess the breakfast will start at 8 or 9 a.m. and that is when they will give us our tournament times.

Don, can you tell us anything about the tournament rules? Like how long the sessions are, whether you're limited by time or by number of hands, how many people advance, etc.? Thanks!
