Fremont is a freek show

Its not so much the side show freaks or bums that annoy me, its the drunk loud douchebags that feel they need to be the drunkest, loudest douchebag on the FSE.
I get it, you're from NY and can drink a lot. Congrats. Now, go change out of the size medium Affliction shirt into some adult attire and have a glass of water.
There just seems to be more tension and people ready to fight if you accidently bump shoulders these days..

That's an excellent point Marko! For me, that is actually worse than the freaks. In my recent stays downtown, I have noticed more of that behavior on FSE that has existed primarily on the Strip.

Maybe they have instituted a "Douche" quota on the Strip so the excess Dbags have to come downtown. You can load them up on the Deuce bus and tell them it's a "Douche" bus just for them to head downtown.

Yeah, my wife and I have noticed a significant increase in the "douchebag" factor on the Strip and downtown. Another reason we spend most of our time at Coast and Station casinos.

When I was learning table games a few years back, both the dealers and players on the Strip, and the older curmudgeons downtown, would be a**holes to me and others who didn't already know what they were doing.

I'll never forget going to Santa Fe Station, sitting down, and having a group of 3 total strangers teach me how to play 3 different table games.

Pretty sure that would never happen anywhere else...

They need more sexy, scantily-clad women characters....and fewer filthy, unwashed, dumpster-stained Spiderman costume chatracters.

Then all will be good.

Yep, some of those costumes are not in the best shape.
Also, I remember the first year they showed up, awhile back
it was just a couple of " Showgirls " and me and a buddy of mine
were schlepping a couple of suitcases moving from one Casino accross
FSE to the next when we were approached for a" free" picture, but as soon
as I sat down my bag and they snuggled up next to me, they both very much
told me that I better leave them a tip as my buddy was snapping the photo !

Yes, that would be a major improvement.

Ya and isnt it fun !!! quite unlike my life in Seattle.

It was a great place to people watch Halloween Night. An on a nigthly basis lots was excitement and a break from the slots and tables. We have stayed clear of the strip in night time hours for quite awhile. Did drive up it one evening and from what I seen people bumping into each other like a herd of cattle crossing between casinos give me Fremont Street anytime.

The scariest place on fremont is inside the glitter gulch. I shudder to think about the d-bags that might be found in that place. LOL

ramphreak lighten up alittle it is not as bad and you might think. Been to worst and been to better. You make you own decision as to what is acceptable and what is not. Fremont Street to me is one of the better choices I make when visiting Las Vegas. Not a better place to people watch anywhere in the United States. Never have ever seen anything that I felt I could not handle. It was the life saver that Good OLDE Downtown needed.
